Terms and conditions of sale

The purpose of these conditions is to inform our customers about the terms and conditions of booking and cancellation, as well as liabilities. These terms and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these conditions of sale are acquired upon payment of the deposit. Le Mas Mûrier is the name of the commercial brand.  

Rates 

The prices shown are in euros, including VAT, per room and per night, for two people, including breakfast, and for the chosen date. Taxe de Séjour and Conseil Départemental du Gard tax must be added (per day and per person) to the rates shown. 
Our rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be renewed for subsequent bookings. 

Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival and 30% deposit. 

Non-contractual conditions, rates and offers are subject to change without notice. 

Reservation 

All reservations are confirmed to the customer by email.  

The reservation only becomes effective when the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount, deductible from the total bill on the day of departure. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. 

Under no circumstances may the lease entered into between the parties to the present deed be extended, even partially, to third parties, whether natural persons or legal entities, without the written agreement of the owner. 

Any breach of this last paragraph may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, with the tenant being liable for any loss, and the rental income remaining the property of the owner. 

No retraction 

For bookings made by post, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, relating in particular to the provision of accommodation services supplied on a specific date or at specific intervals. 

Length of stay 

The lessee signing the present contract concluded for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay. 

Terms of payment 

The following payment methods are accepted: 

  • Cash and credit cards for the balance The cardholder expressly authorizes Mas Mûrier to deduct the amount of the deposit and/or the balance agreed in the present conditions of sale. 
  • Bank transfer in euros - Payment of the 30% deposit can be made by bank transfer to Mas Mûrier's bank account. The reservation will be considered firm only when the payment is credited to Mas Mûrier's bank account. 

Reservation changes 

Any change to a booking must be requested directly from Mas Mûrier by email.carole.herbillon@outlook.com 

This request for modification will only be effective once Le Mas Mûrier has confirmed its acceptance by email. 
Subject to availability and at the discretion of Le Mas Mûrier, the length of your stay may be extended, without any obligation to stay in the same room or at the same price. 
If the stay is shortened by one or more nights, no refund is possible. 

Cancellation of reservation by customer 

All partial or total cancellations must be made directly to Mas Mûrier, either by email or post. In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the date of stay, the price of one night will be retained and cannot be reimbursed. 

If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date, the present contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of the room(s) reserved. The deposit also remains the property of the owner, who will request payment of the balance of the rental. 

Cancellation by Le Mas Mûrier 

In the event of cancellation by the owner of Mas Mûrier, the latter will reimburse customers for all sums collected, without prejudice to any claims for compensation for any damage suffered. 

Insurance 

The tenant is responsible for all damage caused by him/her. He must be insured by a civil liability policy covering his responsibility for these various risks. 

Rooms available 

Rooms are available from 4pm. Please let us know in case of late arrival after 6 pm. 

Releasing the rooms 

Rooms must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. 
They will be checked before departure. 

Change of room 

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, Le Mas Mûrier reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the customer for an equivalent or superior room. 
In such a case, the room rate will be adapted to the room occupied. 

Breakfast times 

Breakfast is served in the dining room (or on the terrace) from 9am to 10am. 
No room service. 

Pets 

Pets are not accepted at Le Mas Mûrier. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the customer, the refusal to accept animals and their owners by Le Mas Mûrier cannot be assimilated to a modification or breach of contract at the initiative of the owners, so that in the event of departure no refund can be considered. 

Respecting the environment 

Kitchens, areas not shown to guests or private areas are not left at the free disposal of guests. 
Guests are asked to respect the state of the premises, and in particular the rooms. Catering in the rooms is forbidden. 
The entire premises are strictly non-smoking. 

Children 

Due to the layout of the property, the stairs and the swimming pool, Mas Mûrier is not suitable for children. The rooms do not have baby beds, and we do not have baby chairs; however, you are welcome to bring your own. Children remain under the supervision of their parents; under no circumstances can Mas Mûrier be held responsible for any accident. 

Art of living 

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the peace and quiet of the premises and the comfort of our guests. Guests undertake to leave their rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay, and to declare and assume financial responsibility for any damage for which they may be liable. 

Personal effects 

Mas Mûrier accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to guests' personal belongings. If any belongings are left in the room at the end of the stay, they can be returned to the person concerned, at their request and expense. 
Only guests staying at Mas Mûrier are authorized to enter the premises, use the communal areas and use the swimming pool. 

Right of access or rectification 

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, the customer has a right of access or rectification. Le Mas Mûrier undertakes not to pass on any information provided by its customers to other companies or organizations. 

Attribution of competence 

The present contract is governed by French law. 
All disputes arising from the present contract, concerning its validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences and consequences thereof, shall be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
